Neal Gorenflo created Shareable in late 2009, which allows it’s users to share things from ideas and clothes to cars and money. He said “Business has spent centuries making buying really easy. We’re just at the beginning of making sharing easy”. It was spawned by a confluence of the economic crisis, environmental concerns, and the maturation of the social web. An entirely new generation of business is popping up. Linux enables programmers to share code, Facebook allows people to share their lives, Twitter allows people to share their thoughts and YouTube encourages users to share their content in video form.
